Ive installed the new patch, and when going to new game it was fine, opened new game and had the choice of Original or 7.01... then i edited it and saved it under a new name, but it doesnt seem to allow me to load the new game...any solutions??

Have you changed the User Data Folder in the game. If so you need to change that setting in the editor as well, as the editor will save the database to the wrong location if you don't, and the game won't be able to find the new database.
