If you have changed the user data folder in the game you need to make the same change to the user data folder setting in the editor. If you don't do this, the editor will save the new database to the wrong place, and the game won't be able to find the database.


I think i have possibly done this beacause first time i went into the editor and changed some data saved it to a new database and then started new game all this worked fine. But then when going into the database again default or new made one there does not seem to be any data in there at all. I have tried reloading the game,patch and system restore with no joy. Could it be the problem above if so could someone please tell me how to rectify it, if not that any ideas ?

First start up the game and go to Preferences, here you should see an option called User Data Folder at the bottom, make a note of which folder that setting is set to.

Now start up the editor and go to Edit -> Options in the menu, in the dialog that pops up you should see a User Data Folder option, make sure that this is the same folder as you have set in the game. Once you've done this the editor will save the new databases to the correct location, and the game will be able to find these databases.
