Ok, this is seriously weird.

I'm setting up a game where the idea is to turn amazing talents out the academy, so I needed perfect coaches.

Now, the guide tells me what coaches need high score in. I've given them 20's in the stats needed, so I've got two fitness coachs for strength and aerobics with 20s for fitness.

Only get 4 star training. The club has 20 for training and youth.

And its the same for all the others. I ever stat listed in the guide, they have 20s, but I'm getting no higher then 4 star training ratings.

You have to set their training so they only train that sector, not all of them. If you select even just two sectors for them to train, their skill is divided between the two.

Lol, I've got that already. I have a coach for each training sector, each with the idea guide stats for that role. And only 4s.

Huh, weird... it should be working.
Just in case, here's the stats required. I used these, and they work perfectly.

Strength: Fitness > = 18
Aerobic: Fitness > = 18
Goalkeeping: Coaching Gks >= 18

Tactics: Tactical >= 18

Defending: Defending = 18 & Tactical>= 18 or
Defending = 19 & Tactical>= 14 or
Defending = 20 & Tactical>= 10

Ball Control: Technique = 18 & Mental>= 18 or
Technique = 19 & Mental>= 14 or
Technique = 20 & Mental>= 10

Attacking: Attacking = 18 & Tactical >= 18 or
Attacking = 19 & Tactical >= 14 or
Attacking = 20 & Tactical >= 10

Shooting : Attacking = 18 & Technical>= 18 or(May be Wrong)Could be Attacking = 18 & Technique>= 18
Attacking = 19 & Technical>= 14 or
Attacking = 20 & Technical>= 10

Set Pieces : Technique = 17 & Mental + Attacking >= 39 or
Technique = 18 & Mental + Attacking >= 36 or
Technique = 19 & Mental + Attacking >= 33 or
Technique = 20 & Mental + Attacking >= 30

Weird. I'll start again from default... see if that will sort. Maybe something got messed when editing somewhere I didnt realise.....

I'll see what happens then. Very weird though, as my coaches definately have the right stats.

It depends not only from those stats but also (especially if coach is foreigner) from determination and adaptability.

I did basically the same exercise, but ensured each coach had a good CA & PA plus 20s for adaptabilty etc. etc. Also I made each an ex international player and gave them 2 extra languages. They turned out to be great coaches national ot continental rating.

Instead of having the two coaches training stamina and strength, try placing only one of them in each type of training. You'll see a huge difference, believe me, I was doing that same mistake...

I meant to say aerobics and strength, not stamina and strength...
