Default Trying to set up my own training but have a question

My question is where do I need to be on the training intensity bar? I do know that I should stay within the medium intensity limits but where exactly do you get the best/optimal results.

On the intensity bar there's a notch and you can go a little bit past it and still be in the medium. Is that recommended?

At he start of the season set it to the last notch of medium but reduce it half way throuigh to about medium to reduce tiredness and injuries in the second half of the season.

To be honest I no longer stay in the medium section and for the first 2/3 of the season I have my training a couple of notches into 'heavy'. I then knock it down for the last 3rd of the season to about the middle of medium.

I've found that by doing this I've suffered no more injuries than I would with less heavy training schedules and with a little squad rotation my team is still performing very well. Plus attributes are increasing at a more satisfactory rate than when I was using lighter training.

It might not work for everyone but it's working for me.
