Hi fellow FM players, I have a consistenet problem playing FM.
When it comes to tactics I really don't know how to understand all the sliders and what possibly causes conflicts. I never play 442 as I hate the formation but it seems any time you veer from this you are very unlikely to get success.
There are many flaws in either the game or my set up because I have playerd various different tactics and with different teams from very low profile to Champs league winning sides. regardless of which team I go the opposition score about 90% of the time with their 1st effort on goal. also my team usually creates around 12-16 shots per game and only like 4-5 on target and I have no-one on long range shots.
Why does the opposition players always get more space than my players?
Why do players who are sooo bad, averaging like 6.40 and things always turn on the style against human teams?
.....and why why why have the computers got superkeepers? this is not a myth but real!!! crap keepers with terrible attributes producing world class displays but only against human teams!!
This is not an attack on the game because Ilove it and I'm very much addicted but there are certain aspects which are unreal. When I play young players they never really show consistency for long periods but when the AI teams loan youngsters they run amok every week, it's not an even playing field.
In my current game I am Celtic, played 7 seasons, won 7 league championships, 5 scottish cups, 4 league cups and been to 3 champs league semis, and at least last 16 every other time. It's been a succesful time but every season I need to footer with tactics as though the computer somehow realises how to deal with them.
I don't want anyone to tell me I'm crap or just a whiner or people telling me to download tactics. I want help on understanding the finer points of tactics and setting them out so I'm not causing conflict.
Any helpwould be greatly appreciated
