The GK settings i use have a mentality of 13, CF = 0.
Pass = mixed.
CD = 3.
Tck = medium
rest at rarely, and distribution mixed.
This works to great effect as my defence only conceeds about 15-18 every season. But that could also be down to defence.

If I could only convince you to use these settings and see the changes?

Also, you could set through balls to mixed.

It really boggles me how changing the GK instructions make you score less goals and give you all those losses. I think is a flaw in the programing.

sorry mate but u have absoloutly no way of knowing if ur changes are makign any diffrence at all. As all pro's and the mods here constantl say...no tests like this can possible work...they are fundermentaly flawed.

It dosnt matter if you play the same game in exactly the same way 1,000 times - u will get 1,000 diffrent games...theres a massive degree of chance in any game for a start...then theres the variation on player performances... straight aaway 2 of the biggest areas in football.

sorry to crap over your dream..but no tests like this can ever possibly work.

Would you try changing the CF to 1 on all of your defenders as well as your GK for me?

what FuSS is saying ste. There are many things that effect the way your team plays.

For example, your striker misses a easy chance it effects the rest of the match in a negtive way. In the next match he might score that chance and it effects the match in a postive way. Also your striker scoring my change the way the oppistion play they may start attacking more.

There are so many differant scenarios durring a match all of which can effect the outcome of the game. No one game will ever be the same no matter what tactic or players you use. Plus your just tesitng it out agaisnt derby so what might work agaisnt them might not work agaisnt some one else. Plus Plus changing your tactics can also effect your players, players can take time to adjust to new tactics imo.

You could actually test changes if you test against so many games.
Certainly not 10 games though.
