Hi everyone

Am at a total loss with this game

Have read various items on Main Attributes for players & need a couple of simple questions answering please!!!

Lets say I have 2 Goalkeepers ones main attributes are Refelexes 14 Handling 14 Communications 14 Jumping 14 & the other ones are 13 for the same attributes but the second ones overall attributes are higher (Blue Bars)
which GK would I use?

Secondly does the same question apply to all players throughout the team?

This is really bugging me

use the both keepers in turns - that's what i do with 3 GK's

as a general rule of the thumb i tend to select the older player this way i can raise his value and when he get around 29 i get better offers for him - but that is only when the two players are very similar in attributes for the position i'am selecting him

Thanks for the reply but surely if the second goalkeepers stats are overall better (even though vital stats are not as good) it might be better to play him?

Am I just being thick?

Play both for a few games - then ask the assistant to pick the best - I often let my assistant pick the team and then tweak it if I want to give someone on the fringes a game

I never let Ass Man pick my team my Ass Man is useless & as I am a League 2 team Board will not let me get another one in!!!!

I have read quite a few threads & am going on the assumption that both Vital Stats & Overall Stats come into the equation, with Overall Stats being the one to choose your team by

Quite a nice problem you have there, having two good keepers in league two is rare to say the least

I would have to say put them both on rotation and let them have 5 or so games per stint, then after they have had about 10 games each you should be able to get a feeling for who you like more, remember average rating is not everything. check his form on his form tab, this gives you some good info.

When you've found the one you think are #1 it dosn't really matter IMO if you kick him up to important or keep him as a rotation, either way keep the other guy on rotation, a bad stretch of form, injury or even a game where you feel he will contribute more is a good oppertunity to give him a go and raise his value

oh and you can get a new assistant by kicking the old one Mutual termination usually lowers the cost, if he is really bad there is really no reason to keep him.

NEVER ROTATE GKs!!! They'll both suck then

Ask your assman and use the one he recommends, he'll usually be better, but if he sucks just put the second one for a try. But never do the one game 1st goalie, 2nd game another goalie.

They'll never be in shape that way
