Rep Power: 0 | ARGH! equalisers being let in...
Hi
im being Swansea on FM07 (top of the league, woop) and am doing really well. i always seem to take an early lead in the match, but either STRAIGHT after half time, or mid way through second half, the other team, no matter who they are, ALWAYS EQUALISE !
what tactics can i use, to try and minimise the chnace of them equalising, either straight after the interval or kinda half way through second half. is there a tactic, or do i just need to timprove my defecne
thanks |

You need to reveal more, what types of goals are you conceding?
Are they all similar?
perhaps, you are not adapting to the AIs tactical changes, e.g. When the AI wants to go attacking as it will when behind, its formation will usually change so that either it goes to the notoriously effective 424 or to a 442 with farrows moving up to level with the strikers. If this is the case, then maybe you need to adapt your tactic. I personally like to become defensive, Counter attack and play the ball down the wings which counters their tactic completely.
Basically, you need to post more information as at the moment I can only take guesses at how you are conceding from my own experience.

sorry, they aloways seem to be goals where the defence falls asleep, a ball over ther top, or a quick free kick for example. they never seem to be clear cut goals, they always seem to be tap ins or one on ones after a hopeful long ball. always so annoying...

If the defense is constantly falling asleep then its looks like its the fault of your players and most likely their concentration attribute. As far as I know there are no tactical options that can cause players to be more alert. However, to counter things such as the long ball over the top you could lower your defensive line, and for quick free-kicks why are you giving away the free-kicks? Perhaps some of your poorer tacklers are being set for a tackling setting that is too aggressive for their ability.
That's the best I can do, I think that you need some new defenders.
