This game must be the most frustrating of the FM series yet!!

I am managing Liverpool and have tried every tactic on this forum as well as my own tactics but I just cannot seem to get any consistency.

I have good players (Torress, Gerard, Aguero, Babel, Leto) but I just cannot string a good winning run.

Has anyone experienced similar difficulties with Liverpool?

I am just about close to giving up on this game alltogether or perhaps trying with a different team.

Might also add its I have been dominating sides but Kuyet and Torres just cannot score 1-on-1 at all.

Its ridiculous having 30 scoring chances and not scoring at all, and them conceding either via a corner or a header!!!!

This game is has lost its appeal for me!!! There are too many little things to tweak and you dont really know whether the tweaking does anything because there is no consistency at all.

I have this problem but don't we all, Even Rafa mate, he buys "Worldclass" players and they dont perform, Managers(Houllier) Buy the next "Zidane" (Cheyrou) and they turn out to be the Next Accington Stanley "Who are they? Exactly" so what i say is keep playing and keep trying myself i am in my thrid season and got beat in champions league final came 2nd twice and lost in comunity shield and F.A cup but this season i have won Comunity Shield but not performing in the League but im Sticking at it and you should to. :thup:

No need to moan here in the forum, if you have a problem then perhaps more information on the tactic will allow others to give advice.

There are a lot of people who do find the game easy, so I suggest providing information

I'm also playing Liverpool. I bought Owen in the first summer to up my quota of decent HG players for the CL.

I', now in March 2010. He has consistently been rated by my coaches as the best striker in the squad or at least the equal of Torres (I also have Aguero, Fred, and Saivet).

Despite this he consistently gets 6 in games and can't hit a cow's a**e with a banjo. I have lost count of the number of offsides, and 1-on-1s he's missed - this from a player with 20 finishing.

He's off in the summer - I hope I can get £5m for him. Probably my worst buy (either him or Giles Barnes).
