Just a quick question.
I'm trying to develope a 4-4-2 that uses no DM or AMC just 2 world class MC's.

Now what I plan to do is have one play offensive and one defensive, which is easy enough to do I know, I also want them to switch places throughout the match, which again is easy enough to do, which brings me to the question.
When 2 players switch places during a match do they take on each others individual instructions?

If so this would be great as it means I can get then the best out of the 2 MC's.

Just like in real football I would like to see when one MC goes forward the other fills the hole and visa versa. I was hoping that by having them switch places, and tactics, it would allow this to happen.

Does anyone know?

Your best bet is to put them both on medium forward runs and just over medium mentality. As long as they have high decision stats they will make the right decisions themselves.Don't put foward arrows on either of them. It might not sound likethat will make them very attacking but as long as they have good decision and off the ball stats they will still get foward plenty.

I've tried that and i've found that both MC's get forward at the same time, which is what I want to avoid.
I want them to have different instructions and then swap positions and, hopefully, instructions during the match.

I will try tonight and watch to see if they swap instructions when they swap positions with each other.

I have tried a 353 with all 5 AM and won PL, non std squad holiday testing, no DMs and only using 3 DCs, std tactics.

Idea was to pack team with attacking talent, but need to test with a std squad.

In response to your original post, if the players swap positions, I am quite sure that they WILL also swap individual instructions.

Think of it as when your setting individual instructions it's to that particular position not to the player. However plays in that position will take on that particular role.
