Hi, I'm Stephen and just commenced to play FM series for few weeks ago. I'm now trying to search for some players' preferred moves to suitable my style of play. However, I don't know the exact meaning for several moves (due to my English is not good). Can you / or other fellow members could explain / elaborate the following items:
1. Diven into tackles
2. The differences between dwells on ball & likes ball played into fleet
3. Moves into channels
4. Places shots
5. Knocks ball past opponent
6. Tries Tricks
I'm English & my English isn't very good but hopefully this will clear a few things up.
1. Basically, this one's normally on defensive players who jump into tackles a lot. As in they slide tackle often.
2. Dwells on the ball - holds onto the ball / is slow to release it.
Like's ball played to feet - that player likes the ball to be passed to his feet as opposed to the ball being played to his head.
3. Moves into channels - I think this one means they like to move towards the wing. Probably mainly for forwards who like to run into a wingers position & whip in a cross or run in toward goal.
4. Places shots - Shoots with precision rather than power.
5. Knocks ball past opponent - likes to take on players by knocking the ball by them & running round them.
6. Tries tricks - pretty much what it says. A player who tries little tricks often, e.g. Christiano Ronaldo.
