I'm Liverpool in December first season.

Torres has scored 3 in 20 :eek:, and I thought I'd put him in the reserves and Nemeth to First Team.
After that Torres hasn't scored for the reserves for 5 games, but Nemeth has scored 4 in 2 for the first team .

WHat should I do with Torres?
And what player instructions?

Say that your disappointed in his performances and bring him on as a Sub, see if he nets any then.

Some thoughts based on Torres performance in my game - for what they're worth.

Torres is not the best target man but if you are playing with him as target man make sure you have service set to feet or run onto ball. His heading and strength are average.

If you are playing him as a lone striker you probably need pacy goalscoring wingers set to cut in from the flanks. Babel can play either side but is better on the right I think. I would suggest either Kewell or Babel on the left and either Babel or Gerrard on the right unless you've bought some other options.

If you are playing Torres as one of a pair I'd recommend putting Kuyt on the right and Torres on the left, maybe even barrow Kuyt to AMC as he will run all day and pull defenders away to create space for Torres. Also set Kuyt to 'through balls - often' as he is more likely to pass than shoot then.

Alternatively play Crouch as target man and Torres off him (doesn't work so well for me, though).

I would suggest you persist with him as he's been consistently good over 3 seasons for me - coach ratings say he's on a par with Aguero who I signed in summer 2009.

It must be his tactics or individual settings, cause Torres has already scored 15 goals on 11 matches in my game, playing as a lone striker.

Don't use him as a target man, his a pacey striker for christ sake.

Set him on an attacking mentality as well!
