Ok I'm Barca in season 1 and I have Eto'o upfront. My back-up striker is Bojan.

Eto'o just got injured for 2 months at the African Nations Cup. I play a lone striker and I'm not sure whether I should buy a better attacker or play Bojan. I let Bojan play 2 matches, he scored 2, assisted 1.

Current Team

I have £54M transfer fees. Should I buy Aguero for 10M + 20M over 24 months?

The only problem is that Eto'o has been outstanding so in 2 months I wont know what to do with Aguero.

So, should I play Bojan for 2 months? Buy Aguero? Or buy a cheaper short-term replacement?

Orrrrrr... Should I play Fernandez/Messi upfront and put Marcelo on?

if you are unlikely to use hi mafter two months dont buy him, just reshuffle your current squad a little bit, or you could try finding a cheaper replacement but chances are you wont find a cheap replacement worth having in ur squad.

also Bojan sounds like hes done really well scored 2 in 2 with an assist.

why not buy him you could always sell him or use him in amc or keep rotation upfront

He's a very useful and flexible player, who's also young with bags of potential. He would make a good signing, but considering the fee, I would have said you're better using some of the quality youngsters Barça have in abundance, like Bojan, as cover.

Sign Zarate instead, for about 3 mil. He is well worthy of a starting place in any team, andis more than happy being back up.

He is cheap and very good so i would get him

Hmm, yeah I know how great Aguero is. I already have enough AMCs too though for when Eto'o is back.

Buuuut... Bojan was pathetic in his 3rd match vs R.Madrid just now.

I was 1-0 down half-time. Messi assisted Iniesta at 51st min; 1-1. Bojan still on a 6 on 75th min so I subbed him off, put Messi upfront. Messi won a penalty and scored it on the 78th min, but got a light injury on 82nd. Ronaldinho added to the score; 3-1.

In 75mins, Bojan didn't even take 1 shot. I'll give him 1 more match, if he can't perform, I think I'll buy Aguero or play Messi upfront

Yep, sold him at the start for 21.5M + 50% to Liverpool. He would be a sub if I kept him, so Bojan wouldn't get a chance to play.
