I think most people who havent played as Barca would never have had Ronaldinho in their team. Surely you cant get him in the first season because of the money they ask for and because most teams dont have that kind of budget at the start. When they do in season 2, it starts to look like a bad investment because Ronnie is not particularly young anymore at only a few months short of 29 (in season 2 that is). Silva has just as good stats and is much younger so people just tend to go for him.
Not to mention, I suppose many opinions are influenced by his current troubles as well. I always try to avoid players that big. Dont like to have any players who're getting paid more than 100K. Not before season 3 or 4 anyway.
