I've just started a new game on fm07 with sunderland. i'm Top of the league at the january transfer window but don't know who to buy . Am looking fo a MC OR DC who would be class for when i get promoted. :p i've got 1.7 million and i want to get two signings of any age.
Any suggestions?

I'd say get Nacer Barazite & Harvard Nordtveit both from Arsenal. Should might just be able to squeeze them in for 1.7M but not sure. You can also try to get Sakho. He should be very cheap too and should be willing to come as well. Oh and instead of Barazite, you can also try Fran Merida again at Arsenal. Maybe even Henri Lansbury. Michael Woods from Chelsea is a good prospect as well. If you can get either Jack Hobbs or Craig Cathcart for cheap, get them. You can also have a look see how much Daniel Carvalho is selling for. He's sometimes as cheap as 1M. He's an under-developed player sadly but still pretty good for the Championship. Give him the right training and plenty of playing time and hopefully his stats will go up. He's got a PA of 180+ but the CA is languishing at around 125 mark. Lots of scope for improvement.
