Im looking at signing Akinfeev as a new goalkeeper as van der Sar is getting old and I don't rate Kuszczak a world class goalkeeper. But i would prefer to in 1 or 2 years start playing Foster. Does Foster go on to become a class goalie or am i better off signing Akinfeev and how much will i have to pay for him?
Akinfeev is an absolutely brilliant keeper. I got him on a bosman from CSKA so I dunno how much you'd have to pay tbh. However, Foster does turn out to be an exceptional keeper. Decisions, decisions!?
Thanks, I think I#ll just stick with Foster then because i want to continue Sir alex' style and give the homegrown players a chance. Also i like to have british players in my team.
Has anyone bought Huddlestone from Tottenham. He is class. i rotate him and Hargreaves in DM and he is class, has scored 3 goals in 7 games and set up 3. Has been best young player of the month a couple of times and has been called up to the england squad.

I started using Foster towards end of season 2 on my Man Utd game. Was a good solid keeper, i would definately have him again, he even went on to be England keeper by end of season 3. I then sold him for £12.75m to Pompey and bought in Akinfeev for £24m who is class!!!
