<STRIKE>Norwich City</STRIKE> Nottingham Forest
After a great season that almost led to promotion I was eager to build on that, pushing for promotion this time. Unfortunately my best players were poached and I had to let them go on Min release clauses. I couldn't compensate for the losses, and after about 15 games we were only in a safe mid-table position. Good enough for Norwich, not good enough for me.
So, when Nottingham came knocking on my door, I accepted the offer, uniting again with my best Norwich player. Over the remainder of the season, I strengthened the squad and led Nottingham from 10th up to 3rd in the end. Wins over Swansea and Sheff Wed in the playoffs meant that finally I got promotion to the Premiership.
Interesting fact: I've never been promoted directly in this save game so far (if I remember correctly), and when I get into the playoffs, chances are pretty good that I'll get through. I've been more often promoted in them than not. Lucky me.
Currently scouting the World Cup so I can find me some gems for next season's campaign. I also signed some left defender from Chelsea who is now pretty old (35+?). Maybe he can help me for one season.
