I had this bug as well. I could fix it by just applying for the vacant post myself though - they refused it and then appointed someone else (after staying 3 years without a manager).

I apologise, I meant FA trophy not FA Cup, I ended up taking the Ranger to the Championship... but the point of the matter us that the Cup wins helped the Status of my team so I could improve from division to division. It also helped with the purse strings from the board. again I apologise with the mixup from FA Trophy and FA Cup (I suppose you all had figured that out already).

I don't think it's realistically possible. The farthest I got was with Tamworth in CM 03-04, when I led them from Conference National to Second Division (Currently League One).

In FM, I took Cosenza 1914 until Italian Serie B, but I wasn't being able to sign anyone, and scouts were completely useless as well.

Hello again Guys,

Can any of you guys recommend me an 'interesting' club to manage who would make a good story, because I am thinking about writing my first CM/FM Story and I want a club that is a bit different to the others to manage.

First of all I thought I would write about a 'normal' FM Game where I controlled Bilbao (because they had the Basque only rule) but I won the League in one season and it got boring so I'm going back to LL Clubs and need you help.

I was thinking of managing East Stirling because as far as I know they are the worst team in the UK, but I am not sure as I'm getting this of a Football Focus episode about a year ago .

So if anyone can offer me any good advice about what would make and interesting game withing every league in Wales, Ireland, England, Scotland, Italy and Spain then I would be greatful.

Also, if there is more than one you can think of then list them all as I could go through them all as I plan a long-term game.

P.S. I doubt writing a story is LLM, even though I am not quite sure, so please don't blast me to much for it, it's just something I want to do.
