I will play it straight out of the box so to speak. If the patches are save game friendly, then great, if not, then will just see if it "breaks" my game.

I surely won't play it from the box.
I still remember in CM 4 or 03-04, when managing Northwich. After a year the team moved to the new stadium, with a 2,000,000 capacity...
Needless to say it ruined the game. I still try to figure it, the stadium surrounding the whole town.
