towards end of 1st season in conf south but losing £9,000 per month but within my wage budget by £40/week, and got $14,000 to spend on players.
attendances low(400-550) even though im 3rd, board and fans expect a respectable league position, so not sure why im losing loads of money.
havnt had any sponsorship money even though it states £12.5K per season do i get it at end of season ? lastly, it states my sponsorship deal to end 2004, but the game started in this year.
I have this problem often. You'll probably find that with your finances, it'll be the "Other" section that you're losing most money in, and there seems to be no real explaination of that.
With regards to sponsorship, when you took over at the begining of the first season, you'll already have had your sponsorship money for the season. A new deal should be negotiated in the close season. Probably for 12.5k, unless you get promoted.

What he said.
I think that scouting missions come under the "Other" category, so if you're scouting in South America or your scout has his own helicopter, this may account for it.
what size is your stadium?? the larger the stadium is the larger your mainenance cost will be.
whilst you're in the conf.South all you can do is hope for an away draw in a cup against a big team.
If you manage to get yourself into the Conf.National you'll get £100,000 each season for TV rights, which helps a lot so all I suggest it just hold on tho that 3rd place spot and aim for promotion. You may end the season in debt, but you can start making it back in the higher div.
Check how many overpaid non-playing staff do you have.
I find that's always the reason for my negative balances when I stay under budget: that 550GBP/week assman in Peru as well as his friends the 400GBP/wweek scouts and so on.
That and expected attendances not working like the board had budgeted (I mean, has anyone noticed how, no matter which team you are, 1st year average atts are always 15-20% lower than others?).
cheers everyone i'll check all these things out later but i know -
stadium -3,000 - i get attendance of about 500.
two scouts one at £150, and the other £200 a week, i'll check other info on finace screen for detailed info.
i started off with no money and £75/week below player wage budget, so not sure about sponsorship money as it says the deal end 2004, and i am in march 2005.

AFAIK you will get a new deal with the new season (2005) not just at the beginning of the year.
