Hard?? well yes it is... It's the first time since 03/04 that I've sat there for about 2 hours just setting my team, staff training etc. I think the non-LLM's are actually gonna have to do some hard work in this version. I like it. Roll on November! :thup:
What's bad about the game actually being more of a challenge? FM2005 looked damned hard for me at the early stages, but settled to a relatively semidecent challenge after my first tinkerings.
Were FM2006 to mantain this difficulty post-beta (which I highly doubt) I would gladly welcome the new relegation tours we'll find ourselves immersed into
I never got this masochistic mindset with LLM regulars.
CM/FM and LLM have never been about failing. To me it's always been about improving within the game.
If you fail job after job then 1) there's something wrong with the game, and 2) SI will lose FMers like snow off a roof.
There has to be scope for improvement, and improvement doesn't mean languishing in the lower reaches of the Conference N/S for 10 seasons.
The new CM won't be as ****e as the last one, it can't possibly be. If SI make FM too difficult then there'll be a huge migration to CM and I can't see SI continuing to produce a game merely for "LLMers" to maintain their "Hehe, I've failed" anti-boast.
The FM release game will be easier. Of that there's no doubt.
