Board and supporters predicted relegation battle, it was also my biggest fear.

Their was nothing to worry about though. We were again never out of the playoffs. Last year we won the league because we put down a hell of a form while Carrarese failed. This year we beat nr1 Salernitana by failing more. Last 9 games we only managed a 9/27, allowing Salernitana to take the title by 10 points and even letting Crotone and Cosenza pass us.

One plus-side however where the serie C cup, wich defenitly doesn't suck arse.:cool: After beating Pizzighettone and Vittoria 4-1 and 1-7 aggregate in the first two rounds, we made it past Prato on a late away goal, followed by a 6-4 against Mantova. The final was against Salernitana, who had taken our title.
We won the home leg with 1-0, my GK was motm by stopping 17 shots. The away leg was evenly matched, just like the score: 1-1.
Cuioio...eh blabla won the serie C cup! :cool:

serie C cup: won
final position: 4th 34g 16w 8d 10l 49/37 +12 56

Despite one of my strikers getting injured for 8 months, confidence is skyhigh for next season.

Supporters predicted relegation battle, board actually showed some ambition my requesting safe-midtable :eek: .

Cups suck arse.
Appearantly you qualify for the Italian cup when you win the C-cup. Luck wasn't on my side however. At that point I had 5 players who leaded the team, 3 of them got injured for 1-3 months. Lost against 1-3 Catanie by conceding two goals in the last 5 minutes. Lost 1-2 against Catanzaro by a penalty in the 93th minute. Lost 0-1 against serie A Torino while we dominated them the entire match assaulting their MOTM keeper with 24 shots.

We started average in the Serie C1/B, losing some, winning some. As soon as the starlets resumed full training, we drove to number 1 with a 9 game winning streak. It wasn't met to be though, just like last year we collapsed late februari scoring only a 9/24, therefore giving up our 10 point lead over Fermana. We recovered slightly and just had to win the two last games to gain straight promotion. We failed, the strikers simply lost the will to score. Gave away the title on the last day hoping the playoffs would bring justice. But even with our strongest team, we were no match for foggia (who we spanked several times before). Another year of C1/B.

Italian cup: lost all 3 games in group stage
serie C cup: lost in second round against Benevento who turned out losing the final against Fano.
final position: 2th 34g 22w 5d 7l 72/39 +33 71

Bank balance went to € -5.9million (anyone happen to know when a club falls in receivership btw?)

3 of my starlets were entering the last year of their contract, so i decided to cash in. Sold 2 of them for a combined 4.5Million, still leaving us in a 1.9Million debt. Surprisingly no one offered for the ex-inter youngster who had won the C1/B player of the year award the previous season.

The fact that I couldn't find a decent left winger to replace my starlet saw us start the season rather poorly. We couldn't qualify from the serie C-cup group stage and started the season with a WLLDXL. Morale took a dive and suddenly half the squad thought it was time to "further their carreer".

When I was offered the Catania job late december, I saw their massive budget and jumped ship.

manager stats at Cuiocappiano:
leagues won: 1
cups won: 1
promotions: 1

I assume it would be like "rythm", so: wridimwin. Can't see myself pronounce this in the middle of a sentence though. </BLOCKQUOTE>

Well, brake it down to chunks:
Rhyd = Ride
(d)ym = die
wyn = when

so its Ride-die-when

Not that far off of the usually playable team Rhyader (Rye-adder)

Well, I did good at Catania, they were 11 points in the relegation zone and it took 7 games to get them out. Just when the game was processing some matches I went to get something to drink and when I came back, my computer was rebooting. Result: start over from early november. Wich was 5 months earlier.
I decided to start over, but this time I stayed at Coui..blabla, when I reached february I had just given contracts to as much as 19 youngsters, wich costed me about 2 hours. When I wanted to click "save game", the game crashed again.\o/

I cannot cope with al those contracts again, did them twice, there won't be a third time. You can close this update thread, no updates will follow. I'm done with this game. I'm going to format, reinstall and start over.

Before anyone asks, I don't use autosave simply because it costs my computer more then 15 mins.
