Finally completed three seasons of my career where I've been running the cup finances experiment...
2004/5 - Worcester City - Conference North
I start off with a decent set up - 21 players, 2 coaches, 2 physios and a whopping 3 scouts. Everyone expects a respectable league position, the pundits even expect a top half finish.
I do brilliantly. I get three votes of confidence and finish 14th. Oddly, the board are satisfied.
Back to the drawing board...
Conference North - 14th, 54 points.

Two players graduate from my youth team...
17 year old GK who plays 9 games, concedes 12 and averages 6.89
16 year old DM LC who plays 30 (7) games, scores 3 gets 2 assists and averages 7.19. I'm impressed by this youngster and have high hopes for his immediate future with me.
As a team we do awfully... until February which is where I normally start to do awfully. A marvellous run to the end of the season lifts us from relegation probables to playoff nearly men.

New local sponsors are signed to Worcester, earning a club a much improved £37,100 for each of the next three years.
A 16 year old D C is promoted, and performs well in the second half of the season.
The DM LC promoted last season continues his improvement, but I don't get to develop him any more as I get sacked on March 10 when lying 17th.
Three days later, I get the job at Stafford Rangers, who are 20th in Conference North. Two straight wins give us hope, but we can't survive and get relegated, giving me the sack twice in one season.
Conference North - Stafford Rangers finish 20th with 41 points and are relegated.
