FC Beigem gaat het maken is infamous around these parts
Default Starting at the bottom

After a long period of exams and hollidays, I decided to start up a new ll-game.

I loaded the Belgian, English, German, Spanish and Italian leagues on a small database.

I chose Walhain as my victim. Reason: Simple. They had the smallest stadium.

Here are their stats: amateur, 1800(400seated), awful facilities; 28 players, 7! staffmembers

Pre-season: I managed to bring in 2 new players: A veteran dmc on a free, and a young gk on a loan from denderleeuw. I lost 3 friendlies. 2 against luxembourg teams 1 against Charleroi(7-2), and managed a 3-3 draw against 4th division Grimberegen(My hometown irl).

I played Walhain and loved it

I hated the colours and Belgian promotion system, though.

KUTGW!!

The first 5 games brought us only 1 lousy point.
We stood on a shared last place, our goaldifference being 9-17. So our attack is ok, but our defense sucks.

I had to sack 4 members of my staff, together with 7 of my players, because I was 1.6k€ in the red. This punched a big whole in my budget, but at least I'm rid of them. Luckily, I was able to sell 2 of my players. My only foreigner went to Happy Valley in HongKong for 11k€. My Moroccan(/Belgian) striker left for OC Courighba for a whooping 82.5k€. So The books are allright, time to focus on football.

Sunshine after the rain...

After I'd put my dissapointing veterans on the bench and replaced them with youngster, things started working better. We currently find ourselves 11th, with 14 points after 21games. That's 2 points clear from the relegation playoffs, 3 from 15th and 13 from 16th.
The cup was a big disaster. We got kicked out in our first match against an even more crappy team.(0-1)

Currently leading the league is Union Saint-Gilles with an impressing 19 games, 2 draws and no losses. Currently last in the league is Sprimont. They got a draw in their first league game, and lost ever since. I'm glad not to be in their place.
I'll finish the season tonight, and tomorrow I'll try to make it to promotion. I got some promising players coming...

Goodnight and see you tomorrow

Walhain just beat me to take over the lead in the race for the second playoff spot.

KUTGW! with YOUR game, though.

Kostis, afaik the season is split in three ten-game parts. The winner of each part gains a playoff spot, and the total winner of the league is directly promoted. That's what I can get from playing CM
