Indeed, currently there is a belgian team, Beveren, with the first 11 all ivorians!!!! IRL
Their manager is head of the footballschool of ASEC Abidjan, and every season he brings in 5/6 new guys for the minimum wages, and he hopes to pull atention to them so the big clubs come shopping. He gets 30% of the transfervalue for his own.

Victory!!!
I've just finished season2(04-05), and we've pulled in the title.
Our Belgian/Brazilian starlet didn't let me down and teamed up very well with my loaned malawi guy.
Half way, we stood 1st after 17 games with a 7 point lead. Then the traditional long-term injuries struck our team. We slumped in one defeat after another, and I already started fearing we had to play playoffs. After 26 games, we were 2nd with 2points behind the leaders: RFC Liège
no.27 was against Liège, so after this game, the champion would be known.
We beat them easily 4-0, and allthough we were only 1 point ahead, I was confident that we would do allright in the last three games.
And indeed, three victories against meaningless relegation candidates, saw us hit a 5 points gap. Div2 here I come.
We lost the game against the D3A-champions, but I couldn't care less. The first step to international succes was taken.
Thanks to all the players on loan, I even managed to get out of the red. Our finances are OK, meaning I have a transferbudget of 0€, but that I have no debts.
The reverse side of the players-on-loan-medal, is that I have to build an intire new squad for div2, without any cash. But that's why we play llm, don't we?
I got 2 promising bosmans coming, and my Brazilian withdrew his dicision to retire after the promotion, so I think we will do quite well next season.

It means FC Beigem is going to make it.
FC Beigem is my local team and they play in the lowest possible division, except for pub-related soccer.
I've put 10 years of hard work in them to make them improve... but we actually didn't get far.
Now I play futsal.
But I'm still confident that, one day, they will make it to European glory... |

By the way, I got kicked out of the cup last season in first match against the same team as last year.
season 3 2005-2006
We're now a 2nd div squad!
Board expectations: Battle bravely...
Supporters expectations: Battle bravely...
My expectations: Safe league position
No chance of getting my stadium improved, cause I hava an 1100 average attendance, and I still have no money.
Pre-season: I managed to pick up a third bosman, and together with 4 loaned players, my squad seems up to the task. The new bosman is a 17yr old dr/c with very good stats, so he'll surely tighten up my defense.
I was able to sell my veteran dmc(39yrs) for a nice 17.5k€
Still no youth players promoted...
Excercise went ok: 2 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss
Half way the season: The first part was average: 11th after 12matches with 13 points. Now in the second part my Belgian Brazilian(who won fans player of the year last season) has found his old form, and we won all seven games since then.
We're 3rd in the overal standings, and lead in the second part with 1point on Westerlo(first in the overall league).
Cup: We survived 3 rounds, but in the fourth we met Anderlecht, and our reserves got a serious beating: 6-0.
Anyway, in a couple of seasons we'll get our revenge in the div.1
End-of-the-season update is coming up tonight.

Season 3 the end
Well we finished 2nd part top of the league, granting us a playoff spot, and placing us 2nd in the overall competition, with Westerlo the unstoppable leaders.
The tird part was a total disaster, thanks to injuries, with only 1 win and 2 draws, so we dropped down from 2nd to 9th.
So we went in the playoff league, together with Union SG, Lokeren and Eupen. With all our players fit again, I found myself an outsider for the promotion. The team to beat was Lokeren.
Our first game granted us a draw away against Lokeren, while Union had beaten Eupen. We eased past Eupen(3-0), and so did Lokeren with Union.
We then lost to Union, while Lokeren won.
standings after 3day:
1st Lokeren 7pts; 2nd Union 6pts; 3rd Walhain 4pts; 4th Eupen 0pts.
We then won at home to Union, while Lokeren didn't get further then a 0-0 at Eupen. Once again we played 2-2 to Lokeren, and Union-Eupen stayed 0-0. So, Lokeren was first with 9pts, we second with 8, Union third with 7 and Eupen fourth with 2. We needed a win and a loss of points from Lokeren to get up.
We easily beat Eupen 5-2, but Lokeren had a 1-0 lead up untill the 87th minute, when Union equalised.
A couple off adrenaline-boosted seconds later, we still stood ead of the group and got our ticket to 1st division.
final standings: 1st Walhain 11pts; 2nd Lokeren with 10pts; 3rd Union with 8pts; 4th Eupen 2pts.
We finished the season with an average attendance of 1239, so no upgrade possible, but at least my awful facilities are going to be upgraded, putting me deep in the red, but hey, that's llm for ya.
Next season in the top flight, with a team totally not up to the task.
I'll be back

season 4 2006-2007
pre-season: I just lost 3 players on minimum fee release clauses(including my young dr/c) + my Belgian/Brazilian starlet retired. The money from those transfers is invested in my youth system improvements, so I still don't have no money for transfers. I pulled in a d/am r/l/c on a bosman, and got two germans on loan.
As I do not grant myself much chance in the div1, I already started preparing a young squad for next season. Luckily, my reputation is already OK, so maybe, my board will forgive me the unevitable relegation.
board expectations: Avoid relegation!!!
Not much of a chance there then...
