Indeed, when picking a team, I was looking for a <1000, no seater, but Walhain was the worst on the market...

The promotion system works like adax says.

The champion gets promoted directly, the winners of the three parts get a playoff place. When the champion has also won one or more parts, the best ranked teams(without playoffplace) get a ticket for those playoffs.

Not a huge fan of the Belgian system. I almost qualified for a promotion playoff place in the same season as I had to playoff to avoid relegation (thanks to a very good last stage).

My first season has ended, and I managed to stay in div3.
Everything went well untill the last 4 games. We were 13th, 1 point from 14th(playoff) and 3 from 15th. We lost our two next games(nothing new) but our rivals managed to bring in some valuable points. Suddenly, I found myself 15th with 2points behind the playoff place and 3 behind safety.

Second last game brought us a well needed point against champions Union. Now, both 14th and 13th place were 2points off. My last game was away at Spa, the number 14. We badly needed the win.
We start ok, and after 17 minutes we take the lead thanks to a rare run forward from my dml.
Everything goes well, untill Spa appears in the penaltybox for the first time. My goalie, probably very enthousiastic to make his first save, tackles the Spa striker... result: Penalty + red card for my goalie. To make things worse, my star dmc gets involved, pushes another player, and he too can hit the showers.
1-1 after 63 minutes.
Surprisingly, my 9 men team managed to withold pressure, and in the 83th minute, we got a free kick. My dc(magnificent free kick, but with no further talent) comes up, kicks the ball and...
ITS A GOAL!!!!!!
A very defensive last 10 minutes kept us the 1-2 victory and the div3 status, because the others lost 4-1.
Finally, a gift from CM...

Season 04/05

The pre-season brought us 7 players on loan, including a guy from Malawi(probably the only one in the game) that looks very promising, and a Norwegian, who's brother plays at Liverpool. They're both from Standard. The others are 2nd div youngsters. I managed to sell some players for a total of 67.5k€, and brought in 2 veteran players for 35k€. One of them being a belgian international from Brazil, that used to play at Fiorentina together with Battigoal...

I've won all my friendlies, including 1 against 2nd div champions FC Brussels and Heerenveen.

The first 6 games in the league saw us win 4 draw 1 and lose 1. Were now 3rd with a goaldiff. 17-3. My Malawi striker scored 8goals in 6 games. My starlet Brazilian is healed, so I'm ready for the no.1 spot.
