Just wondering whether anyone has had chance to sit down and try the demo with 06. I know it's only 6 months, so very hard to tell, but how does LLM seem? Improved? Anyone who is testing it for SI - is the issue with rising from the leagues and then not getting scout reports for players as they are deemed not good enough sorted? Is the issue with scouts only scouting the leagues below even though you have moved up sorted?
Just interested whether it is now as good as 01/02 in this respect.
I've had a quick hack at Strawberry... too short to assess any LLM-specific issues though. General gameplay improvements positive - especially quick tactics. Can't figure out how the training works at all. So no change there then.
This proposed tutorial mode could be bit of a poser for LLaMas. Since it's in the game, will we allow ourselves to use it? Or does it constitute tipping?
I wouldn't have thought that the tutorial would have compromised the LLM ethic. It's not a cheat as such - just shows you how to use certain areas of the game.
Keep an eye on the "realism" aspect of LLM, blokes. Would it be realistic for a guy to come straight into management with little idea of how the game he's expected to succeed at works?
I don't think so.
There are coaching courses, management courses, business courses, etc. that all football clubs would at least hope their manager had done.
I shan't be looking at any goddam' poofy tutorial, but I wouldn't slag anyone who did, tbh.
Using the tutorial/manual is like having the picture that a 3000 piece jigsaw is supposed to make.
Just being told what to do to get the best results out of trainging/tactics etc. is like the shortcut of having somebody else do the jigsaw and laying it in front of you.
