I've been having the reverse happening.

I took Mansfield into the Championship with an auto promotion and was predicted to be relegated. Even my asst. said the squad was poor but I have been unable to bring in any better players despite raising 1.5mil to spend.

However it's December and I'm 3rd!!!

I've got a squad made up of young players and freebies who seem to be playing above themselves.

I'm decidedly worried that I'll gain promotion!

I could only get 2006gold to run once and the advice in the forum was to remove all other versions of fm before reinstalling it.

I did this and and it worked...once!

Getting a new pc next week anyway so would be starting from scratch then anyway.
