Default Finding a Interesting team to Manage

Hello again Guys,

Can any of you guys recommend me an 'interesting' club to manage who would make a good story, because I am thinking about writing my first CM/FM Story and I want a club that is a bit different to the others to manage.

First of all I thought I would write about a 'normal' FM Game where I controlled Bilbao (because they had the Basque only rule) but I won the League in one season and it got boring so I'm going back to LL Clubs and need you help.

I was thinking of managing East Stirling because as far as I know they are the worst team in the UK, but I am not sure as I'm getting this of a Football Focus episode about a year ago .

So if anyone can offer me any good advice about what would make and interesting game withing every league in Wales, Ireland, England, Scotland, Italy and Spain then I would be greatful.

Also, if there is more than one you can think of then list them all as I could go through them all as I plan a long-term game.

P.S. I doubt writing a story is LLM, even though I am not quite sure, so please don't blast me to much for it, it's just something I want to do.

P.S.S I'll save you writing the first post:

Sestao River Club, Spa 2nd Div B GrII.

I'd be amazed if you managed to get them promoted in less than 6 seasons and not quite surprised if you didn't survive the first season.

It's a basque team as well. Elgoibar might be another starting spot, they're a tad easier than Sestao, as AurrerĂ¡, Amurrio and Barakaldo.

Enjoy the frustrations of being a LLM Basque manager.

What a vile Green and Black kit they have!

It looks terrible with the wraparound skin

But, I like the look of it. Their players are actually quite alot better than those at Bath but the lack of players to sign makes it seem impossible.

Keep on suggesting things as I am abit unsure about starting off in Spain, I liked the idea of beginning in the UK and moving out and around Italy and Spain, but Sestao looks to be a great team for some point in the game, cheers UELLFan!

I am a big Rugby Union fan so I was thinking I could manage a few teams who's Rugby counterparts do well, like Llanelli, Cardiff, Leicester, Bath. But, still I lack inspiration.

I think I have found something interesting to do. It is a 'Globetrotter Challenge'. What I will do is load a game with leagues from Asia, Europe, South America, Africa, North America, and Oceana and try to manage one team to the major continental trophy on each continent before moving to the next.

In North America and South America I can only load one league, in Asia, Africa and Oceana I have 2 (MAX) and in Europe I have every Scottish league and the top flight in England Italy and Spain.

The interesting aspect of the game being that I will only move clubs when I:

a) Am sacked
b) Win the Continental Trophy

And I cannot think of a better place to begin than the lovely East Sterling.

See y'all in about 1,000,000,000 years

Wish me Luck!

I have actually just lost my motivation for that idea too, it would be interesting but far too slow.

My new idea involves only the UK, or only England and just starting as a young english manager unemployed and working my way up to the Premiership. Not sure if this idea will last.

Anyone else got an idea for a career which could be made into a story?
