Don't know if this is breaking any rules, but I'd like some input.
I'm with Worcester City, it's November 2007. I've just been promoted to Conference National above all expectations. I've been financially excellent, keeping within wage budgets, not spending transfer funds unless there are exceptional reasons, and have saved £160,000 (mostly TV revenue from the Conference). I've asked the board several times for an improvement of the training facilities, but they're refusing. Training facilities are classed as 'Need major investment' and I want to get Worcester to the League before leaving. Having sh!t training facilities I feel is preventing m from reching my goal. Do I.....
a) Continue as I'm doing and wait for the board to change their minds?
b) Dig in and issue an ultimatum, risking an option of resignation or egg on face and disgruntled chairman
c) Quit for one of the lucrative job offers coming my way.
I'm currently in a play off place 12 games in, 4 points off automatic, but don't feel I have a squad capable of promotion without the neccessary training.
If this breaks any rules, feel free to tell me to f off, but I can't see anything. Talking to other managers about resignation issues seems perfectly logical to me.
