Hi all, thought id create this thread for people to pitch their hints and tips that other people maybe unaware of.

Big Club Release Clause Avoidance
its january, your pushing for promotion and all of a sudden you helplessly lose your star players - very annoying!!
to avoid this, as soon as the message appears that X Utd have bidded 1,000,000 for john smith, demote john to the reserves. now have a look at his profile and theres no bids and no clubs interested. promote him back to 1st team and there you have it
Build a super team without unlockables
so, i started a game with farsley celtic as per usual by january i went for my usual dip in the transfer market to see who i could nab for free at end of season. i put in some bids for top preiership youngsters, eg kasper schmeichel, frazer campbell and on all occasions i got knocked back.
in march i tried again for these players and was suprised to see no news feeds in the following week. i checked my future transfers in and lo and behold they were joining in july.
i stormed the conference only dropping 2 points (my financial status was bankrupt which didnt affect me) and again in january i bid for players, the biggest star being theo walcott. all these players knocked me back but again come march when i bidded they joined.
this only works with domestic based players and only works when you bid end of feb/begining of march. it will make you bankrupt if your a small team
