F*** me! I have just noticed my stadium capacity has drop from 30,000 to 9,500!!!

I requested the board to expand the stadium last season and they are planning to add 9,500 seaters. Upon completion, I should have 39,500, rather I end up with only 9,500!!!

I hope the patch can fix this, although I doubt the patch is able to pick this up. Probably it will fix the bug but the capacity will remain 9,500 in my game. What do you guys think? I don't want to start all over again!!!!!

Third-party-tool it back up to 39,500. I know that's cheating but hey, FM08 cheated you first!!!

Also would like some confirmation that this is a bug. That kind of stuff has the potential to ruin a savegame that's got some serious hours logged.

yes it is a bug and the beta patch fixes it

I saved mine on the day the expansion was announced but its a 6 monther... keeping fingers crossed.

Someone else on this forum claims he saved it the day before it was due to complete. The bug occurred and the capacity dropped, he reloaded it, continued and the second time it was correct - i'll be trying that too.

Where do I find this third party editor? I to have been seriously screwed by this stadium expansion bug.

well.... I am not too sure if the beta patch has fixed this bug because I started a new game after the beta patch.
