SI to sell rights to other companies for football manager franchise!!!
SI should do the right thing and sell rights of football manager to other companies that can make football manager a better game. SI do not know what they are doing ....so this is my suggestion.

Yes because sooooo many companies have shown themselves to be more capable than SI, EA for example

The game despite the bugs is amazingly in depth and enjoyable. The bugs are irritating but hopefully will be fixed with the patch.
They don't know what they are doing?
Over a decade of producing games that millions of people buy and love says they do.
And selling the rights off, do you remember when they split with Eidos and Eidos got the CM name, have you playued a CM game since?!? Theya re totally abysmal. I had vouchers for Christmas and got Fifa Man and CM08 both paled into insignificance compared to FM and had the playability of a ukelele.

their success is making them slack. They are just selling fm 2008 because of the sucess of previous fm games. The bugs are just bad and should never happened in the 1st place. They are releasing patches to fix the games. Its like u buy a thing that is spoiled and they repair it back for u . The thing never been broken in the 1st place.

Which of SI and SEGA's rivals do you think could produce a better, more in-depth game than Football Manager? Certainly not EA or Eidos judging from their efforts.
Did you try the demo before you bought the game? It isn't compulsory to buy the game just because it's new you know.

I once thought the same, but when trying to return CM05 was told you're supposed to download patches and they don't refund on PC games because of this.
It is the norm. All PC games have it so why should we expect different from SI, the patch takes 15 mins to download and then 30 seconds to install, you will have spent more time moaning on here about SI than it would take you to sort it.
Yes I agree the bugs are irritating and there are plenty of them but in a game as enduring, realistic and addictive as FM I can live with it for another month.

Perhaps so. But I challenge anyone to make a game of this depth and level of interaction, with this may variables to consider, in such a time-frame, without generating bugs.
The game has such a level of depth that bugs, sadly, are inevitable. Instead of damning SI for making patches, be thankful that they do. Let them know the issues you have found. I believe SI has a good level of customer service, but it has to be a two-way relationship.
If you don't like the game, you're under no obligation to buy it. If you do buy it, of course you have a right to voice an opinion, but constructive criticism is far better than "OMG this game suxx y dunt sum1 else do it 2 many bugs". That's just idiocy.

BTW I just wanted to reiterate how truely dreadful CM08 is and how crap Fifa Man is, although it does have more quirky features. This is mainly due to me wasting £40 of vouchers on them on Boxing Day. The only bright point was getting WOW as well, the only rival to FM!

Already told them about the spanish registration bug and yet what do they do ..? they do not do anything because their mindset is " who cares , they will buy the game anyway"
