well i'm into my second season with a high-flying atletico and now a couple of my players (capt. Maxi Rodriguez and experienced cb Pablo) are both "worried by the lack of managerial discipline".
I figured this was to do with me being soft on red cards (not fining) but i don't think this is the case anymore, as after Maxi had this concern, i fined the next player who was sent off (Lucas) even though it was for two yellows. Lucas thought the fine was unfair, but anyway, the day after, Pablo is now also worried by the lack of managerial discipline.
I have a squad discipline rating of 13 in my profile (after about 20 months), i never make outspoken remarks in the media, i rarely comment on my players unless they are playing really well or really poorly and i can't think of anything else that i've done whihc could affect this.
does anyone have any ideas how to cure this before two of my key players want to change clubs?

I had that problem, then I started issuing warnings for every sending off (unless for violent conduct, then they got a 1 wk fine the first offense and 2 wk fine for any additional violent conduct sendings off).

fantazm, coincidence i guess cos i haven't experienced this before n don't use any other forum.
thing is though, i always discipline players after reds, and i've even taken to fining players after dismissal from two yellows (which really ****es off the player). I don't have any poor performers at the moment and i don't make outspoken remarks about anything. Is it perhaps because of a generally poor squad discipline (our team gets a lot of yellows)?
