I'm having a problem installing the Patch 8.0.1 for Mac. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Please somebody help me. I download the patch. Then open it and the installer comes up. It then says it needs to verify whether the program can be installed (don't know exact words, i have a german mac). After that process it says that this is not the cas. The installer doesn't quit though, I can continue installing. And at the end it says the "installation has been succesfully completed".

What am I doing wrong. When it asks me where to save it, where do i put it? in the Football Manager Folder? or simply on the HD?

If it says installation has been successfully completed then just start the game. If the game (as stated on the game status screen under the version number option) is version 8.0.1 then the patch has installed successfully.

Exactly that's my problem. I then start the game and the version is still 8.0

Have you installed FM into a non standard directory? This is what happened to me. I had to uninstall FM let it install in it's default location then re-install the patch.
