'not well-performed (invalid token)at line 1 of last_saved_game.xml' is the message i recieve wen i boot up fm08. i have tried uninstalling, deleting saved games, tactics the works but the problem still prosists . any ideas

Did you have any characters like é á etc in your last saved game?

The last_saved_game.xml file will store the name and location of your last saved game so that when you click on Load Last Game on the main menu then it will do just that.

You could manually delete the file or start a new game (if you can get that far) and save it and it should resolve your problem.
