Hi i recently created a team on football manager 2008, and i did everything fine as i would with football manager 2007, i go onto football manager 2008 and it won't let me be in the english league now because that team is put in there, is there any way of playing in the english league without deleting this team as i took ages to do. Would it helped if i downloaded the 8.1 patch aswel

yeah i loaded the proper database as i named it after the team, and no i didn't delete a team

maybe they have been put in a league which is lower than what you can manage, eg unibond

the team i put in their is kick ass, and i put them in the premier league, would it not work if there is too many teams in the premier league or sumtin

No, every league has to have the correct number of teams otherwise that country will be unselectable.

can't i just put one team down to the english championship and 1 team frm the championship into league 1 and just leave it as tht?

You'll need to do that all the way down, through all the leagues though, even the ones below the BS N/S.
