I am with Fortuna Sittard, just promoted to Dutch Premier division after the 1st season. Nobody wants to join my team. I have no money to spend and can only look for players who are listed. Have Brazilian league running and yet I can't sign those listed because they ask for the same wage £5250.

I know they may want to earn more but I bet they do not have the same demand! I think this is a problem in FM, isn't it? anybody knows?

It is called reality... how many brazilian players do you see in the Dutch teams?

Yup, it may be called reality but not realistic. In all ages of Brazilians(the one would like to join me) want exactly the same wage, why? An 18 yr old boy wants £5250, A 29 yr old man wants £5250???? :thdn: It will be annoying when you offer contract to those you want to sign and regardless of their quality they ask for the SAME wage! :thdn:

Are they actually asking for £5250, ot is this the maximum the board are allowing you to offer them?

The board's budget can't meet £5250. I just want to know why majority of them want this amount of wage, not 5000, 6000, 3000???

That GBP 5250, that is a weekly wage, right?
If so then I do have a feeling that this isn't a bug or a problem at all but just reality implemented in FM.

In Holland the reality is that you can sign as many Non-EU players as you want however the minimum wage for any Non-Eu player is 150% of the average wage of all professional footballers.

According to the site www.fbo.nl (Organisation of Professional Football Clubs) the yearly minimum wage for a Non-Eu player for the season 2007/2008 is EUR 388.500. Throw in the currency rate of late October 2007 of 1.43 that would make arond GBP 271.671 a year or GBP 5.225 weekly.

If someone from SI could confirm this then I'll give SI a huge :thup: in advance for yet another piece of reality into their game.
