Hi there. I currently play my first SI-FM game ever and was quite successfull in my first season with VfB Stuttgart ( won the triple ).

One thing that didn't work was to replace my assistant Babbel with a more worthy candidate, as he just reaches 4 stars in defense and sucks even more besides that.
He received a wage of €110k p/m and sacking would have costed me over €3m.

Now that I have more than enough money ( €55m ) I checked for alternatives, but couldn't offer anyone more than €33k p/m while I had €1m left for free in my wage budget.

I thought it might be because I still had Babbel, so i sacked him and nothing at all changed. Still laughable €33k p/m maximum while Babbel himself got nearly 4times the amount, not to mention my huge unused budget. So what the **** is the problem ? *grumbles*

It might be the reputation of the people you are offering a job to. If they have low reputation, I beleive the board lower the budget for that particular guy. I'm not 100% sure on this but it's like they are reducing the risk of him not working out, if you get my drift? :thup:

Yes, I understand what you mean Neji. But that can't be the reason. My favorite would be for example Pat Rice, the assistant from Arsenal. He currently has a rep of 6558 which isn't that bad. Still he is only worth 33k p/m in the view of the board.

Even Mauro Tassotti ( Milan Ass with Rep 8653 ) doesn't deserve more than this minimalistic wage

Ahh. Im not sure then, the only other thing I can think of is that your board see that money would be better spent elsewhere OR it's a bug?
