I got a similar thing in my game with At Madrid. The messages change as you go through the next season - well it did with me anyway.

It's just a clitch and seemed to rectify itself as time went on.

In my situation I had to start moving up the table by the end of a two year plan. I finished the season in second place and got a message similar to yours. I didn't take much notice and it didn't effect my game at all.
