I'm in the editor, and I'm trying to give myself a few extra quid to spend. But no matter what I add as my money and my wage budget, whenever I start the game my "Balance" is always £23.7 million - no matter what I set my Cash to in the editor. I tried £0, £50 million and £1,000,000,000 and every time - £23.7 million

What's gone wrong?

yeah i had this problem aswell. try using smaller numbers i.e istead of 1billion try 500million.

if not try using an edt command

the ammount of money you can give a club depends on that clubs reputation rating try upping that and then try adding cash again

But I added myself as Arsenal, maxed my reputation and etc and tried £%0 million, £200 million and £1bn and my Balance was STILL £23.7 million

The budget changed to whatever I selected, as does the wage limit. But not the Balance - so if I spend over the Balance I have a "reported Financial Crisis"...

Put in the number 1215752191 and you get 1.2 billion. It works for me

I think this might have been said before but anyway :

Pick out two players that you don't want in your squad anymore

Set a future transfer to any club in the game for both of them for a billion. Best off setting the transfer date for the date the game will start.

Also, I find it better if you ship them off to a club that won't be active at all in your game, i.e , if you are managing in Europe, send them to Africa or something.

The transfer budget will again start small in the game, but request more funds, and there you have it.

A couple of things to note

(1) The 2 players you transfer away will be listed as the most valuable in the world (but this can be fixed by buying them back for whatever they are really worth

(2) At the end of the season, the club you sold the players too will be listed as one of the richest in the world...

(3) Don't sell more than 2 players, or you will find yourself in about a billion worth of debt.
