Just another quick one, but if for example a player has a potential of -8, do the stats that appear for them, pace 14, technique 16, finishing 12 for example, reflect their current ability or what their ability will be once they have reached their potential? Just wondered as a player who has perhaps only just come to prominence and has been missed off the database may not have stats that reflect how good they could be and I don't want to put them down as a 15 pace (potential) and they end up as a 20 pace...

Player attributes reflect their current ability not their potential ability. Many if not most players do not reach their potential.
