Hi,
I have often read on the forums that weaker teams who play counter-attacking style against stronger teams have a better percentage of creating chances by keeping your wingers wide.

What i want to ask is..how do u do that? I have tried keeping the creativity of the wingers to less than half...around 7-8...and the width slider is at the max....however i still find that wingers come into the center...

Another issue is how should i keep my fullbacks wide....sometimes when the ball is on the right side of the field....the left back comes in...almost to the position of the center back...then the opposition just crosses the ball to the incoming fullback on the opposite flank and the subsequent cross is converted into a goal...please tell me how do i stop this?

If you play with too much width and still playing relatively short passing than your wingers have to come in to have any chance of getting the ball.

Don't put forward runs on or them - you want them to stay in their position, not go to the box
