no, coz normal coaches can coach the youth players as well. i just meant is there any real advantage of having a youth coach instead of a normal coach

I think its do with the fact that if you have a youth coach , hes doing less (because he's obviously not training the main players) so he can get more out of them. Thats all I can think of. And they tend to have a better 'Working With Youngsters' rating.

But a regular coach can be coaching both the first team and the youth team and still have a 5 star influence on both teams.

So you could theoretically have only 8 coaches (and your ass. man.) and have 5 stars of coaching for every area of your training for both your senior and your youth squads.

Without a youth coach or a first team coach in sight.

I would guess his "Working With Youth" skill would have more of an impact on their development when employed purely as a "Youth Coach" albeit it doesn't reflect in the ***** ..

Yes, technically, he may be able to get 5 * with the full squad or youth with his 20 attcacking .. but actually dealing with them personally on a day to day basis would fall under is youth skill and gives hidden bonuses ..
