Hi!
Does anyone know the secret to generate great youth player, my ajax team have world class Youth setup but during my four seasons as headcoach i never had one decent youth player making it into my first team. This is very strange co´s Ajax is on of the best clubs in the world to develop youth players. I have good youth coaches in my team, does the fitness coach influence the youth players?.

The real life Ajax youth teams tend to be made up of 16 players.
Having just 16 players in your Under 18 and 16 in the Reserve team (possible more due to older players away on loan) will increase chance of more players coming through the youth academy. Buying fewer players does also increase the chances more players coming into the Under18.
