I usually set my CB's to tight mark their opposing striker.

The AI (in a 442) keeps playing a striker on the left or right wing, then during the game swapping him with one of the forwards. Unless I notice straight away and am allowed to change my tactics in time, which is rare, my CB gets dragged out to deal with the guy hes been set to mark leaving the new striker free to stick the ball in the net.

Whats the best way to deal with this?

Select the formation view whilst watching games.

Just don't assign him a particluar player. Tell him to mark man to man and tight marking, he wil just mark whoever is playing upfront so it doesnt matter if opposing players change.

This is the logical answer, and it might just be me, but this doesnt seem to be as effective as specifying in opposition instructions.
