Im currently developing a 451 formation and was hoping you could help me. Im stuck on whether to use my lone striker as a target man. Also if i do select him as the target man have any of you had success in using a target man other than the stereotypical big guy that likes the ball lumped up to him in the air. (ie does the, run onto the ball or play to feet option work any better?)

a had a quite a lot of sucsess using 4-3-3/ 451,
use a pacy striker and run onto ball, (danny haynes is a legend in a system like this.)
