Say I have to play Arsenal and Everton in a week and both have contrasting tactics. What player settings should I alter etc. To suit the team. e.g closing down, mentality. Or should I be changing formation? Im speaking in general terms here, not specifically Arsenal or Everton. Just how much variation in tactics should there be and what should the setting i change be? Thanks

probably best to look around the threads for solutions as your questions arent specific enough for any single answer

personally i like to set up a formation then leave it absoloutely as it is but you'll find everyone has their own methods

i agree with socks but i do always play around with the mentality, passing style, tempo sliders, adjusting depending on opposition and scouting report
