Hopefully somebody can point me in the right right direction with this.
Right I play a 4-4-2 system global mentality, we have a throw in midway in there half, for some unknown reason one of my cd has decided to move up to their 18yrd box, leaving a cm to defend in his place, suddenly their gk receives the ball as the throw in went ****s up, throws it up the field and a goal to them, as my cd is still toddling back from the throw in situation.
Surely this not classed as a set piece, as I want him up there if we got a free kick for his heading ability, but not for a throw in halfway into their half.
And another thing I noticed when I put the game on pause to see if my players were in the position I wanted them in, we were attacking, ( I have an dmc and amc in the central midfield posions of my 4-4-2) I set my dmc to no forward runs very little creativity, and my amc to forward runs always, and my amc is way behind the dmc in the attack, I know pace may have something to do with it, surely if I don't want him to make forward runs he should stay back.
Sorry did look after and didn't realise that throw in is classed as a set piece, and dc was set to go forward, tbh never noticed the throw in set piece before.
As far as dmc I do have him low creativity, I'll just tweak it down a little more, cheers justified.
