Hey all

I'm playing as Man Utd

I had great success with the corner trick where you put your two FBs back, one tall player with good bravery, heading and jumping at the near post and the rest of the team at the far post and then you let your corner takers kick the ball at the near post..

But here in 7.0.2 I just can't make it work again.. I have played 20 games now and I have not scored a single goal this way.. Anyone who knows if SI have made something to prevent this type of easy corner goals on the new patch?

And do anyone have any other ideas/advices for an effective corner tactic..

I haven't been able get it work either. I have all the right players for it. Tall defenders with high jumping and heading and good corner takers. I think I've scored one goal in about 15 games so far.

The near post corner trick is for lamers.

i would say it probably has been toned down a bit because I don't score anthing like as many as I did

however, it's still the best around i'd say.

Anyone who has any tips for good corner settings which hasn't anything to do with the "near-post-flick-on" trick?

Think I will try putting all my players on "forward" as it hopefully some different formation in the penalty zone every corner and therefore more dangerous for the opponents

Yes it does, although i'm not sure if it works as well as it did before.

Mid you - it was a bit unrealistic before. Mikael Silvestre once scored 4 goals in one match for me!

In this thread Jimbokav 1971 has had a defender score over 60 goals in 3/4 seasons using this method so there proof it does work.

I've found it very toned down since 7.0.2 personally.

I'm gunna go for a new setup...apprently it's possible to clear most of the box for long shots still. I'm not sure how but i've seen it done.

U can only put 2 plaers in each corner settings, else it dosnt work (this was implimented to prvent the old corner cheat)...so just gotta find enough positions to clear most of the box and allow my lurking striker a free shot....
